What was the inspiration behind the print?
I have always loved gingham style prints, but had never seen a super colourful one that I really loved – so… I created my own!
How did it make its way in the hands of JRC?
We can thank Jools for this one. One day when getting my hair done, I was showing her some of my latest work and as soon as she saw this print, she said I needed to show the JRC girls.
Well, I did… and now here we are! Haha.
What does a working day in life of Kasey Rainbow look like?
The best thing about being a self-employed artist is that no day is ever the same! But you can bet that I will always start my day with coffee – that’s about the only consistency in my life.
What is your favourite piece from the collection?
I know it’s a class response, but all of them! Each piece is fabulous in its own right. The shirt with a pair of jeans and sneakers – perfect. The long sleeved dress over tights with boots – perfect. The summer dress with a margarita in hand – perfect.
